Best ramen in the 757 besides my house.
The spicy red miso substitute Chashu for the ground pork is the bomb!!
Best damn gyoza after my wife and mizuno's this would be third place which is pretty good because most of you will never get #1.
Ichiran ramen also very good!!! My wife always gets this one. -

Ichran is my favorite ramen place in Hampton Roads, probably because I haven't been to any other Ramen places in the area. Other than ramen, Ichran also serves katsus, but no sushis. Their food presentations are beautiful. For the ramen, they serve it with a wooden spoon.
My usual order is the spicy Seafood Ramen. The broth was rich and flavorful. They usually serve it with shrimp, squid, and fish cakes. I was quite disappointed because my bowl looks so plain. There's only 2 shrimp, a few squid rings & tentacles, and no fish cakes. I would understand if they ran out of fish cakes, but I just wished they mentioned it to us. My SO ordered the Katsu Curry and he enjoyed it a lot.
Ichran's price is very affordable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back, but hopefully there's fish cakes on my Seafood Ramen next time. I might also Tonkotsu Ramen next time as well. -

My coworkers put me on to this restaurant. It's a nice spot to dine in for lunch. There was so many ramen choices that it was hard to decide on a bowl. I enjoyed a bowl of curry red miso noodle soup. The spice is subtle so kick it up a level if you like your food super spicy. The price was reasonable for the serving size. The servers were good people. Clean floors and tables.

Hands down the best Ramen I've had. Service was fantastic and the food was ready way faster than I was expecting. Generous serving and bold flavor. I will definitely be going back!

It's never a good thing to grocery shop on an empty stomach so I was okay when my son spec this place as we were driving by to Costco. It was a little after 3 pm and it was pretty empty innate w/ the exception of a table of 3 finishing up their meal. We were promptly greeted and seated even I noticed the ambiance is quite similar to other ramen places - small, clean, but with some sort of reddish lighting. I thought the stools at the bar were pretty cool and unique!
The employees were really friendly and looked very familiar but I couldn't figure out from where our how. The chef behind the counter kept looking over at us, maybe thinking the same - haha. Our waters stayed topped off and we were constantly checked on, which is always nice.
I was impressed by the 3 pages of ramen soup choices! Many of them were new to me but I wasn't in the mood for soup so I opted for the Chicken Katsu Curry. I really should have said "no rice" because the poor waitress gave me "that" look as if to say "another wasteful customer." =( Anyway, my dish was delish with just the right amount of crunch of the Katsu and spicy kick of the curry. I wasn't a fan of the onions in it but I'm an expert at pushing that stuff to the side and eating around it! =)
My son could not stop commenting and raving about the pork in his Shio Ramen. Said it's the most 'tenderest" one he's ever had at any ramen joint. He offered me one of his Takoyaki pieces and that was good, too! The moving bonito flakes always keep me entertained.
I would definitely come back here when I'm in the mood for Ramen. Price is average and they have a good variety of things on their menu as well as dessert. Ample parking since it's a little strip mall but it is kind of hidden so look behind Boston Market and you'll find it!
